His artistic journey began early in life after relocating from Mount Vernon to Long Island, and eventually to Far Rockaway, Queens. It was there, during a pivotal encounter with a local DJ at the Ocean Village basketball courts, that Mr. Garner discovered his passion for Hip-Hop and the craft of DJing.
Driven by raw talent and relentless work ethic, he quickly taught himself the art form and went on to dominate local DJ battles, earning widespread recognition throughout New York’s competitive music scene. This early success set the foundation for a career defined by creativity, discipline, and leadership.
After returning from California and proudly serving in the United States Air Force, Mr. Garner transitioned into the business side of entertainment. Mentored by respected industry professionals, he contributed to a variety of high-level projects and collaborated with platinum-selling artists, further sharpening his abilities as a producer, writer, and content architect.
In 2010, Mr. Garner created an early concept that would later evolve into a larger, more refined production. This project was ultimately redeveloped into the competitive music reality series Hit Maker: Battle for the Crown—demonstrating his ability to transform raw ideas into polished, market-ready entertainment properties.
Today, as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Vision Quest Multimedia Group Inc., Mr. Garner leads the company’s strategic and creative direction.
